Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) Since Carsten Pieper writes so enthusiastically about this band, I had to give it a try, and really, I'm very enchanted! Well, I always can rely on Carsten's opinion... So this is a demo?! That's kind of an understatement. It's much better than lots of official releases cranked out by other bands nowadays, and sold for big bucks. This phenomenon reminds me of the superb "demo" issued back in 2003 by Jordsjø's compatriots Wobbler, containing a similar kind of retro prog in the vein of early 70's kraut. Favorite track: Svarthelleren.

Carsten Pieper Seems I have to grab everything this band from Norway releases. Melodic, athmospheric retro prog, very well done. I simply love this stuff!
P.S. Under Aurora B. almost sounds as if Tangerine Dream and Eloy had teamed up ;-) Favorite track: Svarthelleren.

Helhest Call it progressive or psych rock with folk influences, everything goes to describe the special and interesting sound of Jordsjø, in what appears to be their second demo. I happily managed to buy the cassette, which happened 2 be a beautiful self-released work. The musicianship in this album is so professional that I can just think about a bright future for Jordsjø. Not a sign of pretentious attitude or something, just a great passion for music, something that really passes. Recommended! Favorite track: Mine Templer I.
